Product Description
CellCounting-Lite 2.0 is a cell viability detection reagent based on the luciferase system. The reagent contains luciferin with high purity and thermostable luciferase. This product shall be added to the cell culture to make the cell lyse and release ATP, so that the reaction can occur as shown in Figure 1 and a stable "glow" signal shall be sent out. The luminous intensity is directly proportional to the amount of ATP, that is, the number of living cells, within a certain range. Therefore, this product can be used for quantitative detection of the number of living cells.

Q1: How to choose detection wavelength?
A1: Full wavelength scanning, wavelength range: 350-700nm.
Q2: Why there is low or no fluorescence value?
A2: Reagent storage issues: stable at room temperature for 7 days/2-8 ℃ for 60 days (activity≥85%); Incorrect placement time during experiment: For CCL2.0, after thoroughly mixing for 2-5 minutes, place it at room temperature for 10 minutes for testing; Excessive cells with incomplete lysis: For CCL2.0, Linear range is 10-60000 cells.
Q3: Why there is uneven luminous values and data jumps?
A3: Is there any edge effect at the position of cell plating? If so, it is recommended to use the middle range of the 96 well plate for experiments to avoid edge effect.
